Jerome Andres

In the mid-1970’s, the hardware store expanded into the previously occupied spaces, and in 1980, Jerome Andres, a second generation Delano resident, took the helm of the family business, Coast to Coast Hardware. For decades, meticulous attention and care was poured into the space. Jerome’s daily commitment to checking on the space, even after the hardware store moved and the building stood empty, is testament to his pride in community and commitment to preserve the historic location.

Jerome Andres sold the building to Lynn and Dale Graunke.

As Lynn and Dale peeled back layers of the building during the seven year renovation journey, the ability to preserve original charm and restore the modern industrial design became reality. Knowing how much love Jerome Andres had for the Bridge Avenue location, as well as the opportunity to recreate another childhood memory of Lynn’s – daily walks past the romantic Hotel Jerome when visiting family in Aspen – it seemed only fitting to name the space, The Jerome.
